Opening of Hardingham Memorial Hall 1920

To commemorate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in 2022 an exhibition, funded by the Norfolk Community Foundation and titled 100 YEARS OF HARDINGHAM, was held in the Memorial Hall. During the weekend of Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th June many people came along to read stories and see photographs that told a short history of the village and the changes that had occurred over the past 100 years or so. Hardingham residents Janice Ferris, Johnny Burke and Nigel Teulon had put in hours of work researching, talking to residents, gathering information, quotes and photographs and designing the displays that brought the story of Hardingham to life.
The exhibition was broken down into nine sections: The Memorial Hall; The School; The Station; The Mill; The Railway Hotel; The Village Shop; St George's Church; Hardingham Hall; People & Places. Following the exhibition it was felt that the materials should be saved and made available to all, and so the contents of those nine displays have been designed as PDF documents that are now available here for anyone to view, download and enjoy.
